Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss and the Normal Architecture Office – NAO have designed a house that divides, separates, shifts, splits, rejoins, recombines, realigns, encircles and reconnects the links between its possible future inhabitants and its material forms. The house is a large construction to be built as part of the rewriting and reordering of the fringe landscapes of the sand dunes of the Gobi and the vast grasslands and steppes of Mongolia: inner, outer, southern, northern.
